Dr Latisha Williams, PT is an Indianapolis Physical Therapist, RRCA Certified Run Coach and Certified Health Coach. Dr Williams is a lifelong athlete excelling in both basketball and track and field through high school and at the collegiate level. She received a scholarship to play division II basketball at the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University S&T) and played all four years. She found a way to continue her love of track and field as a 100m, 200m and anchor of 4×100 relay team, participating in college as well. During her freshman year she broke the school record and earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships, placing in the top 20 in the country.
Throughout high school at Kokomo High School she amassed over 15 individual sectional titles, broke a 20yr school record in the 200m and 100m, 1st place in the 2000 regional meet at 200m earning a berth to the 2000 Indiana High School State Track and Field Championships placing 3rd in the 200m and a member of the 7th place 4×100 meter relay team. She then picked up more endurance running in her 30s and has completed numerous 5k, 10k, and 5 half marathons. She has coached hundreds of runners from beginners to competing in the New York and Chicago Marathons.
She recently gained advanced training to add Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy services to women! Check out our Pelvic Physical Therapy page for more information.
My greatest love is God and family, being a wife and mother of 3 children and dog mom to Apollo her energetic German Shepherd and Khalessi our new rescue pitbull! Dr Williams loves combining her knowledge as a physical therapist and runner to maximize other runners performance and coaching from cross country, college runners to adults from couch to 5k to marathon. We specialize in active adults, pelvic floor dysfunction and runners from age 13 and up. My passion to focus on the total body with nutrition and health coaching is another tool to further bring value to patients and clients.
